The “Puerro
de Sahagún” (“Sahagún’s leek”) is, no doubt, our main product and we sell it in
conserve as well as natural. In order to achieve the most of its possibilities
we manufacture and pack leeks in different formats according to its size.
The careful
manufacturing of this product keeps the leek characteristics unaltered. We
preferably pack the “neck of the leek” as it is the most delicious part of it.
We also produce leek cream to eat as mashed food and to be used as the basis to
cook vichisoisse by adding milk or milk cream into it.
We are
still making some research in order to get some other utilities and
possibilities of this versatile product.

| Since old times, the cultivation of peppers along the plains of the rivers of León is well known. The varieties of "Morrón" and "Cuatro Morros" (as named by our ancestors) developed a special adaptation to our climate. Theis main characteristics are the high content in sugars and water, big size fruits, thick and juicy walls as well as very thin skin almost undetectable. They can be consumed raw directly chopped in salads, fried or in bettersweet presentation. The Bettersweet peppers are a very old recipy. It has a surprising flavour for any kind of palates: an unexpected combination. They are specially recommended to eat raw, in salads or together with meats, fish or boiled leguminous. |

| The present evolution of our marlets and the preferences of the consumers lead us to to innovate products of qualified elaboration of the highest choice. It results in reduction of time to prepare the meal and easy to use. This is the philosophy of "Ready to eat". Following next, we started manufacturing bettersweet salads from our fist line products: leeks, peppers, leguminous... mixed with those other products that enhance their flavour. Furthermore, these resulting mix can be combined again with other dishes as for example, as complement of fresh salads of the consumer's choice. |
